David lives in San Francisco and has two beautiful daughters and two faithful dogs.

Born and educated in England, he put aside his passion and thoughts of a life as an artist and channeled his creative energy into architecture with a desire to see the world through this work. After qualifying as an Architect in 1993. and for the next twenty-five years he traveled extensively.

David’s work has taken him to live in London, Scotland, Vietnam, Thailand, mainland China, Hong Kong, Texas and California.

Living with many different cultures, climates and environments has shaped David’s understanding of the world. Now, after several decades spent refining his skills, he draws upon his knowledge and experiences to produce work that is informed, poignant and thought-provoking. His perspective slides between that of an immigrant, a world citizen and a contributing community member.

David’s paintings are inspired by a host of subjects drawn from environmental issues and people issues. He Prefers large format media and the versatility of acrylic paint. Further inspiration comes courtesy of a wee dram of whiskey and a few decibels of Pink Floyd!

A large percentage of art income is donated to environmental & humanitarian non-profit organizations. Donations to date amount to $45,000 and counting…
